Mu is designed to make it easy for you to add functional mushrooms in your daily life. You can take them anytime of the day. However, there are certain functional mushrooms such as cordyceps and lion’s mane which help support energy levels, stamina and focus. It may be more appropriate to take them during the day.

When it comes to superfood, there is no one size fits all. The amount of dosage one should take would depend on many personal factors such as health, age, weight, the body’s biochemistry etc. At Mµ, we’d recommend that you take 1-2ml of our extract tincture regularly for 2-4 weeks and observe if it improves your overall health, then adjust the amount. 

Depending on which Mµ tincture you are using, each mL (one dropper) contains the equivalent of 500mg (Reishi, Turkey Tail, Lion’s Mane)  to 1000mg (Chaga, Cordyceps) of the corresponding functional mushroom.

The amount of time it takes to work depends on many factors, including your body’s biochemistry, the amount you take, the quality and potency of the products you take, etc. Some of our customers say they feel more focused after a few days. Others say they feel the benefits such as easing their inflammation after a few weeks. 

It’s important to bear in mind that functional mushrooms are not a cure in themselves. Just like most supplements, regular use will maximise the health benefits and assist with other therapeutic regimes.

Our products are selectively sourced from different places. Our Chaga is wild harvested in the Siberia Taiga forest far from human settlements. Reishi, Turkey Tail and Lion's Mane are organically grown in Australia using the Paul Stamets method. Our Cordyceps are organically cultured in a GMP-standard lab in China.

All extracts are produced in GMP certified facilities with strict quality control.

All of our products are tested by third party laboratories for pollutants such as heavy metal, arsenic etc to ensure purity and safe for human consumption.

Functional mushrooms are in general very safe. However, you should always consult your health practitioner if you're on medication, pregnant or breastfeeding, as with any supplement or medicine.
